DARE TO DREAM
During 2007 and 2008, Voces de la Frontera blogged perspectives and stories from students, teachers and advocates on issues facing immigrant students in Wisconsin. The project, at the invitation of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, took the name Dare To Dream and charted the hopes and frustrations of these students in their own words.

Myth: Immigrants to Wisconsin do not want to assimilate
Fact: In 2006, 42.6 percent of Wisconsin's foreign born population were naturalized citizens. Many more applicants for citizenship are facing long processing delays.
