Main Street on the Move 2010
On March 17 2010, Voces de la Frontera began a 5-city 'Main Street on the Move' tour that ended in Washington, D.C. for the 'March for America' rally and a lobby day to pressure congressional offices on job creation and immigration reform.
Along the way, the tour highlighted local labor struggles, such as in Indiana, where Whirlpool workers were fighting to prevent a plant closing that would affect 1,000 workers and their families.
