LABOR DAY
Milwaukee's labor movement was built by immigrants and the city's proud union traditions mean that Labor Day has a special place.
Each September, Voces de la Frontera joins local unions for Laborfest - the annual Labor Day parade and festival. It is opportunity both to celebrate labor history and to stand in solidarity with the many unions that have supported the push for comprehensive immigration reform.
